In partnership with Pal-Think for Strategic Studies and FXB France, Irada – First Incubator for Businesswomen in Hebron – concludes its initiative entitled “Marathon of Non-violence for Youth” within the project of “The Palestinian Consortium for Non-Violence” implemented in both the West Bank and the Gaza strip .The idea of the initiative emerged as a result of the continuous and diverse practices and forms of violence in the governorate of Hebron. As a matter of fact, violence negatively affected the lives of many citizens from different segments of the Palestinian society. Indeed, the initiative aimed at extending the significance of dialogue between the different sectors in Hebron. This action raised awareness of the public on both avoiding violence and creating a vivid and a safe environment to live in. Moreover, the initiative shed light on the violent practices that children, women and elderly are frequently exposed to. In fact, dozens of girls participated in this activity including participants from the Feminism Club and Beitulla Municipality. The closure of the initiative was in the yard of the Municipality joined by a good number of prominent characters, journalists and youths who supported the idea of the initiative.
