Proceeding to the efforts of spreading the culture of non-violence within the Palestinian community, Educational Forum Association in cooperation with Pal-Think For Strategic Studies and FXB France, have concluded the “The Tolerance Bus” initiative, within ” The Palestinian Consortium For The Culture of Nonviolence” project. 

The project aims at spreading the culture and behaviors of dialogue and debate as a civilized method in solving differences.

The initiative activities were implemented by a group of youth activists, local committees and some of the local leaders, and targeted 500 people of different ages taking into account gender, from two marginalized areas in the middle governorate of Gaza city, Al Maghraqa and Al Zawaydeh Village.

The director of forum Mr. Akram Abu Jiab explained the initiative aim, that represented in spreading the culture of non-violence as a method of daily dealings among citizens in the targeted places since there have been many recent incidents of violence within the Palestinian society, whether at the level of families or within the families themselves.

Eventually, participants expressed their admiration for the initiative through their interaction with the working group, and their constructive discussion on the mechanisms of promoting civil peace and spreading the values of tolerance and non-violence.
