The Palestine Future Foundation for Childhood (Center of Cerebral Palsy) along with Pal-Think for Strategic Studies and FXB Organization, have concluded an initiative entitled “It’s my right to play” within “The Benefits of Non-Violence as a Culture and Instrument for Conflict Resolution Domestically & Regionally “project.
The initiative targeted children with disabilities, in an entertaining day at the Shalehat Resort, where this initiative aims at promoting the culture of respecting the rights of persons with disabilities in Palestinian society, especially children, represented in their right to participate, access, in addition to their rights stipulated in Palestinian Law No. 99/4, which are health, education, play and other rights. The initiative also focused on reducing the verbal and physical violence against persons with disabilities, on the other hand, the promotion of a culture of nonviolence through the implementation of various activities and games such as painting, music, sports, theater and other recreational activities.
The participants in implementing the initiative expressed their appreciation and joy, thanking the organizers of this initiative for their support and interest in the rights of persons with disabilities, and recommended that such initiatives should be continued, to promote and spread the culture of nonviolence in Palestinian society.
