Dier el Balah society foundation implemented an initiative under the name of “Cinema of Nonviolence” targeting youth in the middle area of Gaza Strip. The initiative is a part of the FXB “Benefits of nonviolence culture”.
The first remarks of the activities were to Mohammed Lubbad, where he projected a group of movies about nonviolent legends, such as Martin Luther King Jr., Gandhi, and Nelson Mandela.  He also opened the discussion between youth groups and experts in sociology and psychology, towards the main problems our society is facing with such a culture. The main aim is to strengthen social awareness in promoting a culture of nonviolence within the Palestinian society and raise public awareness among the youth about a culture of tolerance and acceptance of the other.
