Would Violence be denied in sports stadiums?

Neda’a Abu Jayab, “The Benefits of Non-Violence as a Culture an Instrument for Conflict Resolution” Project graduate, held her first initiative. It was entitled “Renunciation of Violence in Sports Stadiums”; it was conducted in cooperation with Al-Maghazi Services Club in the Central Governorate of the Gaza Strip.

The workshop focused on renouncing violence among fans of all forms of sports in sports stadiums. Nedaa also stressed the importance of not using verbal and physical violence during matches. She continued, in front of 25 attendants including fans and players from Al-Maghazi camp and Al-Bureij camp, to speak about violence and its forms and how it affects negatively sports stadiums.

Finally, she recommended establishing binding ethical rules, agreed upon by all, for all clubs and fan associations to effectively discipline the masses within.
